Electrical & Instruments Engineer Job

The Person

· Degree in Electrical/Electronic

· Min 5 years’ experience in oil & gas industry especially dealing with Generator Set , Air Compressor, Gas Compressor & Hydrogen Compressor

· Able to use AutoCAD

· Result oriented and good planning and organizing skills

· Multi-taking and manage stress appropriately

The Job

• · Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings (P&ID, Single Line Diagram, Control Philosophy)

  · Review electrical design of project for technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, and feasibility.

  · Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant international codes, standards, regulations, and procedures. Advantage familiar with Oil & Gas standards.

  · Validates as built drawing and work procedure.

  · Liaised with Project Management Team (PMT) on Project Execution Plan to suit with E&I section planning.

  · Active communication and engagement with contractors and customers

  · Prepare meeting presentations to clients and co-worker’s for progress update.

  · Managed and incorporated project’s Vendor Document Master List (VDML) for E&I section such as Engineering Drawing, Data Sheet, and Report.

  · Liaised with procurement team for Material Take Off (MTO) and Material Requisition (MR).

  · Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation

  · Preparation and submission of Site Technical Query (STQ) for client approval for any on site changes.

  · Advise and assist commissioning team for Testing and Commissioning upon the completion of construction and during Initial Start-Up

  · Liaised and assisted QA/QC Department for Project Quality Control.

  · Willing to work remotely when require (offshore/onshore)

  · Willing to work at UMWIPS Serendah, Selangor.
