Electrical & Instruments Engineer Job

The Person

• Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Has 3–5 years of professional experience in the oil and gas sector or engineering industry
• Demonstrates a strong interest in power solutions for the oil & gas sector
• Possesses strong knowledge of engineering principles, tender preparation, and project management
• Familiar with Petronas Technical Standards (PTS) or equivalent industry standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and general computer applications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in managing tender bids
• Capable of working closely with sales and after-sales teams to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Strong analytical and practical field engineering skills; able to work in site, field, or office environments
• Willing to travel as required and possesses own transportation
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrives in a team-oriented environment

The Job

• Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analysing information, adapting and modifying engineering techniques.
• Execute projects within time, cost and ensure compliance to quality standards.
• Being FSR, performing site commissioning onshore and offshore.
• Lead electrical for FAT and SAT.
• Prepare final documents (electrical and instrumentation).
