The Person

Academic Qualifications

• Possess a degree in chemistry, emgineering or equivalent. Membership of Malaysia Institute of Chemistry (IKM)
• Professional certification of MLA or CLS is an advantage

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years in lab testing activities and product presentation (mainly testing of oil and lubricants)

Knowledge 

• Lab operations, product development and product manufacturing process. Have knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and OHSAS

Skills

• Product presentation skills. Computer literate

The Job

Responsibility

• To continuously plan, coordinate, design develop, revise, test, implement and control of all existing and new products formulation to ensure quality products with cost effectiveness, meeting company's business direction and customer requirements. 
• To gather, analyse, recevive feedbacks and recommend on new and existing product range based on market potential and technology updates.
• Work closely with inter-department and company to provide technical support to gain and maintain customers in line with business strategy.
• Solve technical issues, enquiries and complaints by recommending appropriate products in a timely manner to ensure that issues are address satisfactory.
• To maintain strong rapport with sales and marketing team, update tha sales team with technology and product information. Deliver appropriate lubricants training to the sales team to build competencies.
• To develop, manage, enhance and maintain new and existing documents and rpocesses, records and procedures of the department to ensure processes accordance to company polocy and industry benchmarks.
• To actively participate and involve in HSE and ISO programs, 5S, Lab, TAG and other programmes as per company direction. Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
