The Person
- Candidate with minimum Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Admin, Economics or other related fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Materials Control and Supply Chain
- Strong knowledge and skills in negotiation, cost saving, material control and planning.
- Knowledge of Computer (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
The Job
- To purchase parts to support market aftermarket sales
- To ensure supply consistency without gap out
- Quarterly review of min-max to ensure up to date and accurate min-max level
- Weekly release of PO to increase stock turnover
- To manage inventory level to meet inventory turn target set by management
- To control/reduce ageing inventory by working closely with Parts Sales & Service team, branches.
- To follow up closely with requestors to ensure back to back order are taken out within a month from shipment ETA date
- To expedite delivery for urgent orders & update requestors
